Commentary on the book of Genesis

Origen wrote two works of commentary on the book of Genesis, the actual commentary itself and Scholia, in which he examined the theological implications of the concept of the image of God, the psychology of the History of the Patriarchs and not least philological problems of the Greek Bible translation. Only fragments of the works remain, primarily in catenas. Until now they were missing from the edition of works of the “Greek Christian Writers” from the Berliner Akademie and will now be presented in the “Origenes Werke Deutsch" series.
